Surf Kids Detail : Initially this painting was called "Surf Shock" to describe the impact of one Atlantic Ocean wave on two children. One thousand years from now this will still be a familiar scene to beachgoers. "

This image is based on a photograph taken by my father, Robert Paul (b.1913- 2007), of myself and Robin (one of my 2 sisters), at Manasquan Beach , New Jersey, USA circa 1959.
